Summer Camp Assistant

Overview:

We are currently is seeking a camp assistant for the summer camps in 2016. Report directly to the Camp Director, the camp assistant is responsible for the implementation of all program goals and for supervising the day-to-day operation of the camp.

Camp Assistant Responsibilities:

During camp (Mid July---Mid August, 2016):

·         Provide academic support during students’ stay at the school

·         Promote and actively participate in all camp activities & projects

·         Supervising field trips to ensure students’ safety

·         Communicating with teachers and host families

·         Maintaining program standards

·         Dealing with emergency situations

·         Collect students’ feedback at the end of the camp

·         Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications/ Requirements:

·         Bachelor’s degree

·         Experience work with children and/or adults in an education/ recreation environment

·         Experience in coordinating/ directing program activities and event

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Strong relationship building abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Advanced CPR or equivalent certificate

·         Sport coach experience
