I am subletting my bedroom in a 4 bedroom apt, top floor(6th) in an elevator building on 107th and Amsterdam, a quiet safe nice neighborhood. You would be room with 3 other Chinese graduate students (f) at Colombia, nice and friendly. The room is quite spacious, with heater/AC, wifi and bright central lighting. Queens sized bed and light furniture would remain. It is a 4-5 months sublet from May 1st to the end of August 2016. The rent is $1100/months plus utilities (really light to share with three other roommates) that is due on the 1st of month. There is a shared cleaning duty for kitchen and bathroom that runs through weekly for maintening a nice clean common space.
Prefer grad students or young professionals, it is good for incoming interns in the city or a visiting scholars. First and last month rent plus one month security would be required for moving in, or the total five months upfront, depends on your finances. Sorry no pets and prefer someone neat who does not bring the party home since there is a limited living space. Sharing bathroom and kitchen, so it is pretty much a dorm-style living.
